Wedoany.com Report-May 9, Chinese solar panel manufacturer Longi has introduced its new EcoLife series of solar panels at Intersolar. This series features the company’s advanced back contact technology and is designed as a premium product for residential customers who prioritize quality, independence, and sustainability.
The EcoLife series is available in a compact 54-cell configuration. The flagship model is the all-black bifacial module LR7-54H7BB, which offers up to 505 W of power and an efficiency of 24.7%. A premium version, the LR7-54HVBB, provides up to 485 W with an efficiency of 23.8%. These modules are claimed to have higher installed capacity and faster system payback periods compared to TOPCon modules.
A key highlight of the EcoLife series is its ability to reduce power degradation by 70% compared to TOPCon modules under shaded conditions. This improvement is facilitated by built-in diode technology, which ensures that efficiency loss remains limited to just 8% when a single cell is shaded. Additionally, the series has a temperature coefficient of -0.24%/°C.
At the Intersolar product presentation, Longi’s Group President emphasized that the EcoLife series is designed to meet the varying needs of European markets. The panels are built to adapt to diverse environmental conditions, including resistance to hail, hurricanes, and snow.
In addition to the EcoLife series, Longi also revealed a new bifacial n-type HJT solar module, featuring back-contact architecture, at the event.
