Impeller for slurry pump

A slurry pump impeller is the core rotating component of a slurry pump, responsible for transferring mechanical energy to the slurry by centrifugal force. It accelerates solid-liquid mixture flow, raises pressure, and delivers slurry to the discharge outlet.

 

Made of high wear-resistant materials such as high-chrome alloy, stainless steel and natural rubber, the impeller is specially designed to resist severe abrasion, impact and corrosion from particles, sand, minerals and tailings.

 

Common types include closed, semi-open and open impellers. Different structures adapt to heavy slurry, fine particles, large solid size and corrosive media.
