The FPL insert is a key wear part for slurry pumps, installed inside the frame plate to protect the pump casing from severe abrasion, erosion and corrosion by solid-laden slurry.
It works together with the impeller, volute liner and throat bush to form the complete wet-end assembly. The FPL insert adopts high-chrome alloy or rubber liner material, featuring excellent wear resistance and impact resistance.
Its main function is to reduce maintenance cost, avoid direct damage to the pump frame, and allow quick replacement instead of changing the whole casing.
